Dodgers First Half Stats and Second Half Predictions

After a successful and eventful All-Star weekend at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers now set their sights on the second half of the season and a march towards a hopeful World Series win.

While there was a lot of hand wringing by fans over the first half of the season, it really was very good. While managing both key players’ injuries and subpar performances by two usual contributors, the Dodgers still sit atop the NL West with a commanding 10 game lead over the San Diego Padres, and a 12.5 game lead over the San Francisco Giants.

Dodgers News and Notes Ahead of the All-Star Game

Happy Home Run Derby Day, everyone!

Although the All-Star festivities are in Dodgers Stadium this year, there will be no Los Angeles Dodgers represented in the Home Run Derby. That’s ok because the Dodgers really haven’t been a home run hitting team this season. Mookie Betts leads all Dodgers with 20 homers at the break, followed by Will Smith and Trea Turner who each have 14.

Could Dodgers Be a Match for Juan Soto?

With the trade deadline just a few weeks away, there hasn’t been an overwhelming amount of news surrounding the Los Angeles Dodgers, aside from a few whispers about infielder Brandon Drury and the perennial rumblings surrounding pitcher Luis Castillo.

The team has been somewhat busy on the bottom-end of the market, having brought back reliever Jake Reed after he was waived by the Mets and signing another reliever in Hansel Robles after being released by the Red Sox.

Freeway Series Preview, Latest Dodger Notes

The final series of the first half is here, and wow, did it fly by quickly. The Dodgers and Angels will play a two-game Freeway series before the All-Star break, with a rare off-day on Sunday.

The Dodgers lead the season series two games to none, with Tyler Anderson pitching a no-hitter into the ninth in one of those games. If the Dodgers can sweep these next two games, they’ll finish with 60 wins in the first half, which is quite remarkable due to the team’s injuries.

Dodgers Pitching News and Notes- Treinen, Heaney, and More

The Los Angeles Dodgers had another crazy game for their first in a three game series in St Louis. But unlike Sunday’s impressive comeback, they couldn’t overcome Mitch White’s six earned run outing, losing 7-6 to the Cards.

Freddie Freeman however stayed hot, adding another four hit game to his Dodgers résumé. He went 4-for-5 with a double, and a solo home run, and also driving in two.
