Things are looking dire in the city of Los Angeles at the moment, at least if you’re a fan of the Dodgers.

It may seem silly to say things are dire when the team is in possession of the second most wins in the MLB, just a game and a half out of first. They still have many of their 2020 World Series championship team on the squad. But things are not looking good at all for the Boys in Blue, especially in the starting pitching department.

As far as major storylines go this season, it’s been one significant development after another for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

No question, a plethora of injuries dominated the first half of the year. Consequently, over the last full week, the circumstances surrounding the future of starting pitcher Trevor Bauer were the primary topics of most baseball outlets. What Should Dodgers Do About Trevor Bauer?

The Los Angeles Dodgers and their biggest offseason signing have found themselves in a difficult situation, and it isn’t because of sticky stuff on the field.

Over the winter, the Dodgers landed the biggest free agent pitcher on the market, right hander Trevor Bauer. Fresh off of a Cy Young Award with the Cincinnati Reds, Bauer dominated the baseball news cycles while ‘deciding’ with which team to sign. It came down to the New York Mets and Los Angeles, with Bauer ultimately signing with the Dodgers.

Who Is Dodgers’ MVP for First Half of 2021?
