Well, we’ve made it. After one of the most interesting 162 game seasons in Los Angeles Dodgers history, and a whole week with out games, the playoffs are here.
The Dodgers start their quest to win Clayton Kershaw and Company another World Series ring by taking on the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLDS.

The Los Angeles Dodgers benefited from a five-run sixth inning on Sunday to defeat the San Francisco Giants and notch their 100th win of the year, resulting in the third consecutive season the club hit the century mark for victories.
More importantly, the team found out it would face either the Brewers or Diamondbacks in the first round of the 2023 NLDS beginning next weekend in Los Angeles.

As October approaches, many fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers typically begin contemplating the best choices for the upcoming playoff roster. The bullpen is often the biggest question mark, as it represents the largest portion of the roster with eight or nine players. However, there could be a different approach this year with the bullpen due to the potential requirement of several relievers needing the ability to go multiple innings.

The Los Angeles Dodgers seem to be all about the youth movement and indeed, if they are going to go far in the playoffs, it will be because of vital contributions from the multiple rookies on the squad.
The Dodgers front office chose this off-season to not go after any high profile free agents, or to go for any big name trades at the deadline. They chose instead to rely on their mix of rookies and veterans to get them through the season and into the playoffs. And even with all the injuries, so far so good.

Aside from injuries, rain delays are among the worst enemies for a major league pitching staff. Constant warmups, early bullpen usage and the unpredictability of makeup games can certainly take their toll. However, the Los Angeles Dodgers weathered the storm of two delays this weekend with a depleted pitching staff, taking two out of three from the Washington Nationals to maintain a healthy lead in the National League West.
It was only a few short weeks ago when the Los Angeles Dodgers looked like they couldn’t be stopped. The offense was clicking, the bullpen had righted itself, and the rotation was doing pretty well.

Julio Urías has likely pitched his last game in a Los Angeles Dodgers uniform.
On Monday, news broke that Urías had been arrested and charged with felony domestic charges, while attending a Los Angeles Football Club game on Sunday evening. He was released early Monday morning on a $50,000 bond.

Righty Bobby Miller threw seven strong innings, and Mookie Betts continued his offensive tear as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Atlanta Braves 3-1, salvaging a win in an otherwise disappointing series against the National League’s best club.
Initially, it looked like it would be an exciting series after the Dodgers mounted an amazing comeback when starter Lance Lynn got throttled in the opener, but Los Angeles lost its momentum on an ugly strikeout from Enrique Hernandez to end the game.
