The Los Angeles Dodgers finished the month of July by winning three-of-four at Coors Field against the Rockies. The Dodgers and Rockies will not face off again until the last six games of the season, all at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers went 21-5 this month, tied for the fourth best winning percentage in the month of July by a team ever in the majors. The number one team in July? The 2017 Dodgers. Los Angeles will head into August with at least a 12 game lead in the NL West.

After a successful and eventful All-Star weekend at Dodger Stadium, the Los Angeles Dodgers now set their sights on the second half of the season and a march towards a hopeful World Series win.
While there was a lot of hand wringing by fans over the first half of the season, it really was very good. While managing both key players’ injuries and subpar performances by two usual contributors, the Dodgers still sit atop the NL West with a commanding 10 game lead over the San Diego Padres, and a 12.5 game lead over the San Francisco Giants.

The Los Angeles Dodgers had another crazy game for their first in a three game series in St Louis. But unlike Sunday’s impressive comeback, they couldn’t overcome Mitch White’s six earned run outing, losing 7-6 to the Cards.
Freddie Freeman however stayed hot, adding another four hit game to his Dodgers résumé. He went 4-for-5 with a double, and a solo home run, and also driving in two.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have finally seemed to put it all together. They have won six of their last seven and now have a 5.5 game lead in the NL West over the San Diego Padres.
Unfortunately, though, it seems as if the Dodgers will be without their All-Star Utility man Chris Taylor for at least the next several weeks.

The Los Angeles Dodgers had what could very well be their best win of the season so far on Sunday night.
After splitting the first two games of the series in Atlanta against the Braves, the Dodgers were held scoreless and were down to their last out, facing their former closer Kenley Jansen. With runners on second and third, Trayce Thompson plunked a single just beyond the reach of Braves first baseman Matt Olson, trying the game.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been struggling at the plate as of late, and they’ve lost their leadoff hitter and right fielder to boot.
On Sunday, Mookie Betts was placed on the IL, dealing with bruised ribs. Betts sustained the injury on a miscommunication on a fly ball with Cody Bellinger, who ended up running into him and causing the discomfort.

Once again, Tony Gonsolin was called upon to be the stopper for the Los Angeles Dodgers’ losing skid. Once again, Gonsolin more than delivered.
The Catman went 6.1 innings, allowing only 1 hit, walking two, and striking out six while facing the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on Tuesday. He faced Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani three times – the only hit he allowed was to Ohtani. Otherwise he shut those excellent batters down.

When the Los Angeles Dodgers are good, they are very very good, and when they are bad, they are horrid.
Now, horrid may actually a little too harsh a word, but things were not great for the Dodgers this past weekend in San Francisco. Los Angeles was swept by the Giants, and only managed to score four runs total despite having an incredible amount of chances to score in each game.
