The Los Angeles Dodgers have made it to the end of their marathon month, 31 games in 30 days, and are finally enjoying their first day off since May 19th. After two road trip and two home stands, the Dodgers finish this slog-fest with a record of 19-12, and 35-19 overall.

Even though they’ve been bitten by the injury bug quite hard over the first few months of the season, the Dodgers still control the NL West by a full four games while sporting the best record on the senior circuit at 35-17.
After a disappointing start to the week, the Los Angeles Dodgers hope to get back on track against the New York Mets, who currently boast the National League’s best record while leading the East division by a whopping 10-1/2 games over the defending World Champion Braves.

After getting shutout in a 1-0 loss to the Washington Nationals, the Los Angeles Dodgers countered by scoring 14 runs and recording 24 hits in a 14-1 win against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday. The game broke open quickly as a Freddie Freeman three run homer put the Dodgers up 6-0.

Well that was a week of baseball worth forgetting about.
The Los Angeles Dodgers finished their week at 2-5, and nearly were swept in a four game series by the Philadelphia Phillies. They had already lost two of three to the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Dodgers were thoroughly owned by teams from the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

After sweeping a two-game series against the San Francisco Giants and an off day on Thursday, the Los Angeles Dodgers were supposed to start a three game series in Chicago Friday against the Cubs. That series will now start now Saturday, after Friday’s game was postponed due to inclement weather.
