We already know that Joey Gallo’s in, pretty much cementing the position-player side of things, although some believe that Hanser Alberto and Miguel Vargas might be competing for one of the final spots.

Better NLDS Opponent for Dodgers: New York Mets or San Diego Padres?

Although the Los Angeles Dodgers can relax briefly while preparing for the beginning of the NLDS next Tuesday, there’s still the matter of determining which team they’ll face, as the Mets and Padres fight for the right to advance through the 2022 postseason’s wildcard series.

Dodgers Close Out Record-Setting Season

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2022 regular season has come to a close. The Dodgers finished with a record of 111-51, the most wins ever in team history. They won the NL West by a margin of 22 games, over the San Diego Padres.

They also finished with the best team ERA in the majors at 2.80, WHIP at 1.05, and batting average against, .209. They have four starters who made 20 plus starts, and had sub 2.60 ERAs, the first team to do that since the 1919 Cincinnati Reds.

Dodgers Playoff Roster: Debating the Best Outfield Combinations

For as high of a ceiling the Los Angeles Dodgers’ offense has, it also has an extremely low floor. I’m not necessarily talking about the last handful of games that matter little at the end of the regular season as much as I’m thinking about the consistency over the entire year.

More Thoughts on Dodgers’ Record-Breaking 2022 Season

For some baseball fans, the concept of a record-breaking season seems unfulfilling unless it’s accompanied by a World Championship, especially if they’re fans of the Los Angeles Dodgers. It’s crazy to think that a season that begins with preparations in February and often lasting into November can be forgotten so easily if the team fails to bring home the top prize.

Dodgers Prepare for Last Regular Season Series

The final series of the season is here, a rare six-game set against the Colorado Rockies.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are closing the 2022 season with the same team they opened it up against. One hundred eight wins and counting for the Dodgers, they are 60 games over .500 for the first time in franchise history, just unreal records during this decade-long run. They’re the first team to achieve the feat since the Mariners did in 2001. Three teams this season haven’t even reached 60 wins.
