Supposedly, Major League Baseball and the Players Association are going to meet Thursday to start talking again about their wide and varied interests before getting the 2022 season rolling. We as fans know enough not to hold our collective breath as talks could break down any minute.

All good things must come to an end, and as such this season, and this rendition of Dodger baseball, shall too.
We as Dodger fans have most likely seen the end of this amazing group of core, homegrown players who when augmented by stealth trades and big signings have made one of the best runs in modern history. Eight straight division titles, with the ninth just out of reach by one game, after winning 106 games. Three World Series appearances, and one Championship. But it still doesn’t feel like enough.

Once again this season, the Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves on the brink of elimination.
They needed ninth inning heroics to win the Wild Card game against the St. Louis Cardinals. They took the San Francisco Giants to the ninth inning of Game 5 of the NLDS before securing that series win.
