Dodgers Welcome Marlins for Home Weekend Series

For the first time in nearly a month, the Los Angeles Dodgers have won a series. It came by a two-game sweep of the Seattle Mariners at home, perhaps sparking a turnaround for the team. The late three-run homer by Gavin Lux on Tuesday night can very well be the turning point for that frustrating couple of weeks.

On Tuesday, the Dodgers announced they have recalled top prospect catcher Keibert Ruiz. For the first game of the doubleheader against the Cubs, the Dodgers did not call up a 27th player, which teams are permitted to do. However, they can announce a move after the conclusion of the first game.
