Max Muncy Named to 2019 National League All-Star Squad

Deservedly so, this afternoon Dodgers infielder Max Muncy was named to the 2019 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, which will take place on Tuesday, July 9 at Progressive Field in Cleveland. Muncy is replacing Nationals infielder Anthony Rendon of the Washington Nationals and will join teammates Cody Bellinger, Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw and Hyun-Jin Ryu at the 90th annual All-Star festivities.

Joc Pederson to Participate in 2019 Home Run Derby

Joc Pederson of the Dodgers has accepted an invitation to compete in the 2019 T-Mobile Home Run Derby on Monday, July 8. The 2019 Derby will be held at Progressive Field in Cleveland and will be broadcast live by ESPN and MLB.com beginning at 8:00 PM Eastern and 5:00 PM Pacific times.

Dodgers Make Flurry of Roster Moves Ahead of Series at Colorado

The Dodgers on Thursday afternoon recalled infielder Edwin Ríos and selected the contract of left-handed pitcher Zac Rosscup. To make room on the 25-man roster, the Dodgers optioned pitchers Tony Gonsolin and Caleb Ferguson, while transferring A.J. Pollock to the 60-day injured list to make room on the 40-man roster.
