After the Astros won the ACLS, former Dodgers‘ outfielder Josh Reddick said he was looking forward to winning World Series games at Dodger Stadium because fans booed him during his brief tenure wearing the Blue. Not surprisingly, his comments were not well-received by many of the fan base, at least those commenting on Dodgers Twitter.

Up until just a few days ago, it seemed as if the Dodgers‘ front office crew was looking to move outfielder Yasiel Puig to another club in hopes of acquiring a player or two who could conceivably upgrade the squad in the 2016 playoffs. While it was rumored the Brewers claimed Puig off waivers and were working on a trade centered around veteran Ryan Braun, both sides failed to reach an agreement, and the Dodgers eventually decided to pull Puig back onto the roster.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have a talented, 25-year-old Cuban tearing up pitchers in Triple-A, while the player the Dodgers acquired to replace him has been all but non-existent in the lineup — an easy out. For all intents and purposes, Yasiel Puig seems like the answer to the only weak spot in a surging Dodgers lineup, Josh Reddick.
