No Wholesale Roster Changes Expected for Dodgers Ahead of NLCS

As there are conceivably several different factors which may influence the management crew of the Dodgers when selecting the prospective roster for the upcoming NLCS, one can only presume that the majority of the squad chosen for the Division Series will stay intact—a formula which convincingly did its job in a three-game sweep over the Diamondbacks.

Dodgers Sweep Diamondbacks in Division Series, Set Sights on NLCS

The Los Angeles Dodgers are headed to the 2017 National League Championship Series after sweeping the Arizona Diamondbacks in convincing fashion. The 3-1 win was led by Yu Darvish and Cody Bellinger. They are the only MLB team to sweep in the divisional series.

Dodgers Hope Hot Bats Stay Sizzling in Arizona

So far, so good.

It’s very early in the postseason, but the Dodgers seem to have it together. All that worry about whether they would be able to get hot at the right time, if they feared the Diamondbacks, was all for naught. The bats look good, the pitching looks decent, and the Dodgers take a commanding 2-0 lead into Arizona.

4 Concerns Dodgers Should Have Against Diamondbacks in 2017 NLDS

After using almost every available resource in their arsenal on Wednesday evening against the Rockies, the Diamondbacks came out on top in a nailbiter which may have been one of the most thrilling Wild Card matchups in recent history. Having exhausted its two most valuable starting pitching weapons, though, Arizona hopes to maintain its offensive momentum upon heading to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers in Game 1 of the NLDS on Friday evening.
