Kimbrel, Dodgers Fall to Guardians in Weekend Series

In another game that was very much winnable, the Dodgers fell to the Guardian’s in Sunday’s finale, allowing Cleveland to take the series at Dodger Stadium two games to one.

About the only good news of the entire series was seeing a healthy and happy Sandy Koufax, with the club mustering a decent effort on Saturday to commemorate the legendary southpaw’s incredible legacy with the franchise.

Off Days Come at Perfect Time for Slumping Dodgers

When the Los Angeles Dodgers are good, they are very very good, and when they are bad, they are horrid.

Now, horrid may actually a little too harsh a word, but things were not great for the Dodgers this past weekend in San Francisco. Los Angeles was swept by the Giants, and only managed to score four runs total despite having an incredible amount of chances to score in each game.

Dodgers Fall to Giants in Clayton Kershaw’s Return

The Dodgers brought back lefty Clayton Kershaw to the mound on Saturday with hopes it would rejuvenate a team that won just four of its last 11 games. However, another poor offensive showing resulted in a 3-2 loss for Los Angeles, securing the series win for San Francisco with a possibility of sweeping on Sunday.

Muncy, Dodgers Take Finale Against White Sox to Secure Series Win

Even though the Los Angeles pitching was less than desirable, the Dodgers orchestrated an offensive explosion on Thursday afternoon to defeat the White Sox 11-9 on the road, winning the series two games to one.

Second baseman Max Muncy delivered the most damage for the Dodgers on the same day he was activated from the injured list, going 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and five RBI.

Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman Lead Offense in Diamondbacks Route

After getting shutout in a 1-0 loss to the Washington Nationals, the Los Angeles Dodgers countered by scoring 14 runs and recording 24 hits in a 14-1 win against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday. The game broke open quickly as a Freddie Freeman three run homer put the Dodgers up 6-0.
