Mookie Betts Wins Silver Slugger Award

The regular season accolades just keep piling up for the Dodgers’ longest contracted player, Mookie Betts.

On Thursday, the Dodgers’ right fielder was awarded the Louisville Slugger Silver Slugger Award. This is Betts’ third straight Silver Slugger Award and his first while playing for the Dodgers. It is his fourth overall such award.

Mookie Betts Named MVP Finalist, Other Notes

The three National League MVP finalists were named Monday afternoon, and Mookie Betts is among them. Betts, who already has won MVP honors in the American League, will look to become just the second player in Major League history to win MVP in both leagues after Frank Robinson.
