The second half of the season begins today, with the Dodgers starting with an East Coast swing that includes three games with the Boston Red Sox and four in Philadelphia against the Phillies.

The Dodgers escaped another crazy series at Coors Field with a split series, and no injuries. While some ERAs got needlessly inflated, and some players played at some questionable defense, it was par for the course at that crazy stadium that they have in Denver.

Tony Gonsolin‘s major league debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers maybe is one he’d like to forget, and the game as a whole was one the team should soon forget, as the Dodgers lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-2 while only getting one win in the three game series.

The Dodgers had a truly historic weekend series against the Colorado Rockies. Not only did they have three walk-off wins in a row, they were all off of the home run, and they were all hit by a different rookie.

Wednesday is thankfully an off day for the Los Angeles Dodgers, as the fans and team alike deal with two bad losses against the Angels, and absorbing the blow that Corey Seager will once again be sidelined for an extended period of time.

It turns out that Nolan Arenado was not correct when he said that the Dodgers would never lose again. Los Angeles lost a disappointing game to the Arizona Diamondbacks Wednesday, and sadly a record of 143 –39 is no longer attainable.
