Dodgers Add Chase De Jong, Kyle Farmer & Jacob Rhame to 40-Man Roster

The Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday selected the contracts of right-handed pitcher Chase De Jong, catcher Kyle Farmer and right-handed pitcher Jacob Rhame, giving the club 40 players on its 40-man roster.

Dodgers Likely to Alter 40-Man Roster by Friday

Another big set of decisions by the Los Angeles Dodgers front office crew will foreseeably be made this week, as every MLB club has until Friday to make last minute additions to their 40-man rosters or else risk losing qualified players to the Rule 5 draft, which will be held during the Winter Meetings early next month in Maryland.

Dodgers Prospects: Checking in with Jacob Scavuzzo

It goes without saying that over the course of the season, it’s been both a delight and a privilege to sit down and chat with six of the most successful prospects in the Los Angeles Dodgers‘ organization. Two of the players we interviewed went on to make their big league debuts, two more zipped through three separate levels of the farm, while another earned Texas League Pitcher of the Year honors and is among the featured arms in the playoff rotation for Triple-A Oklahoma City.
