Is too much eagerness a bad thing? It is if you’re a parent or guardian and Christmas is coming and you have a small child in your household. And it can be for a baseball team too, one that has tasted the World Series twice in the last two years and have yet to win that ring.
Rightfully so, there’s been a lot of chatter surrounding Julio Urias in the early days of 2019 spring camp. The Dodgers had their first look at the 22-year-old lefty during Cactus League play on Wednesday against Oakland. Besides his flawless stat line, there was plenty of complimentary applause for him, especially by his skipper Dave Roberts.

Today is the first day that all Dodgers players are to report to camp. All players have reported, with the exception of Andrew Toles. The team told reporters this morning that he was dealing with a personal issue, has been in contact with the team, and has the team’s full support. We’re hoping whatever it is, Tolesy will be back with the team soon, and that everything is all right.
