Much time has been spent by many bloggers writing about whether the Dodgers should re-sign Yu Darvish, myself included. Los Angeles remains tops on the wish list of places that Darvish would like to pitch for, and that is shown in that he has chosen not to sign with another team.
The Dodgers held their FanFest this past Saturday, and there was the usual fun of autographs, pictures and interviews. During those interviews, some new information has come to light, especially concerning the outfield and Matt Kemp‘s situation.

So here we still stand, Dodger fans. Heading into the middle of January, not many notable additions to the team have been made, and Matt Kemp is still on the team.
The offseason is going especially slow this year, with but a few trades and signings scattered throughout to keep us going. What the reason for it is, no one seems to know for sure. It could be the front offices are not really seeing anyone they really want to add to their team. It could just be that they are all waiting out the market.

On Thursday, the Los Angeles Dodgers announced the completion of a three-team trade with the Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Royals. The Dodgers received left-handed pitcher Scott Alexander from the Royals and minor league infielder Jake Peter from the White Sox. Chicago received left-handed pitcher Luis Avilan, right-handed pitcher Joakim Soria and cash considerations, while Kansas City received infielder Erick Mejia and right-handed pitcher Trevor Oaks.
