Another day, another injury to a player on the Dodgers. Or at least it seems that way, especially to the pitching staff. The latest to incur an injury is starting pitcher Brandon McCarthy. He left Thursday’s game after four innings with a blister on his right index finger.

The Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday recalled left-handed pitcher Grant Dayton from Triple-A Oklahoma City and placed lefty reliever Adam Liberatore on the 10-day disabled list with left forearm tightness. Liberatore’s stay on the DL may be retroactive to May 31, if needed.

The Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday evening reinstated left-handed pitcher Adam Liberatore from the 10-day disabled list and placed left-handed pitcher Luis Avilán on the 10-day disabled list with a left triceps. Avilan’s placement on the DL will be retroactive to May 24, if needed.

The Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday placed both outfielder Andrew Toles and left-handed pitcher Adam Liberatore on the 10-day disabled list, while recalling infielder/outfielder Scott Van Slyke and outfielder Brett Eibner from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Toles has been diagnosed with a torn right ACL while Liberatore is suffering from a left groin strain.
