Happy Thanksgiving from Think Blue Planning Committee

2020 has definitely been a year that none of us could have ever anticipated, in so many ways. From the pandemic and all the chaos and loss of normalcy and life, to everything in between.

I asked people on Twitter to divulge what they were most thankful for this year. They run the gamut but almost all include with Dodger fans can be most thankful for – a World Championship

This year, we finally got what has been so elusive for so long. Clayton Kershaw, Kenley Jansen, Justin Turner finally have their rings. All of the keeping of players who were trade fodder for years paid off – Corey Seager and Julio Urías came up huge in the World Series. Players fans loved to complain about, like Austin Barnes, came through when the team needed them most. And the Dodgers finally signed that big name to a huge contract, and Mookie Betts brought the team to the promised land.

We here at Think Blue Planning Committee are most grateful for you, our faithful readers. We’d never be able to write about the team we love if there weren’t so many of you to keep supporting us. Dennis and I just celebrated our fifth birthday of this little blog, and your continued readership means the world to us.

Wherever and however you are celebrating, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Here’s to at least another five years of TBPC.
