
The Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday afternoon recalled outfielders Joc Pederson and Trayce Thompson from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Thompson, who wore uniform No. 21 earlier in the season, will now wear No. 47.
Pederson, 25, returns to the big league club after appearing in 14 games since being optioned to the OKC Dodgers on August 19. In 87 games with the big league squad this season, he is batting .215 with 18 doubles, 11 home runs and 33 RBI.
Thompson, 26, will make his third stint with Los Angeles this season after hitting .212 with 12 doubles, six triples, nine home runs and 33 RBI in 95 games with Oklahoma City this year. Thompson has appeared in 19 games with the big league club this season, going 5-for-43 with two doubles, one triple, one home run and two RBI.
With the move, the expanded roster count now stands at 38 players.
